Sylvester Stallone denies hiding marital assets in response to Jennifer Flavin's divorce filing

In response to his estranged wife Jennifer Flavin's divorce application, Sylvester Stallone denied purposefully wasting marital assets.

On August 19, the former model filed documents to dissolve her 25-year marriage to the Rocky actor, stating that their relationship is "irretrievably destroyed."

She also charged Stallone with hiding assets in her petition, claiming that he had "acted in the purposeful dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets which has had a detrimental economic impact on the marital estate."

Along with agreeing that their marriage was "irretrievably destroyed," the 76-year-old actor did not object to Flavin's request to "return" her maiden name.

He did, however, object to Flavin's demand for "exclusive usage" of their Palm Beach house.

They merely proceeded in "different paths," the Rambo star insisted, denying that their breakup was caused by a dog.

Stallone told TMZ, "I have the utmost regard for Jennifer. "I'll adore her forever. She is a remarkable woman. I've never met a nicer person than her."

The daughters of Stallone and Flavin, who got married in 1997, are Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20.
