No Diwali Party at Bachchan’s Residence this year – Confirms Abhishek, Covid 19 is not the only Reason

Every year, Diwali Parties of Bollywood Celebrities are talk of the town for everyone. But, this year is not same like other years. Coronavirus Pandemic has changed eveything. Even the Diwali Celebrations of Bollywood Celebrities.

We all know that Bachchan Family is known for hosting Holi Party and Diwali Party at their residence every year. But, this time, they have cancelled their plans for hosting Diwali Party.

Well, only Coronavirus Pandemic is not resposible for this. Abhishek Bachchan revealed in an interview that this year they will not host any Diwali Party at their residence. He also informed about the reasons for this decision.

One reason is quite obvious which is Covid 19 Pandemic. Earlier, Abhishek Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan suffered from Coronavirus and were hospitalized for a few days. So, Abhishek Bachchan said that who hosts Parties at such tough times.

Second reason for not hosting Diwali Party Bachchans is the death in the family. This Year, Ritu Nanda(Mother-in-law of Shweta Bachchan Nanda) passed away. After that, Rishi Kapoor died during lockdown who was a very close friend of Amitabh Bachchan.

In an Interview to SpotBoyE, Junior Bachchan said, “Given the rise in COVID 19 cases, Diwali parties are a distant dream as of now. Who hosts parties at a time like this? Civilisation is going through the worst crisis ever. We all need to be as careful as possible. Observing the utmost social distance is the only option we have. And that too is not a guarantee against infection. Diwali parties and other social occasions are for now a distant dream,”

So, Bachchans will celebrate Diwali Party at home with only their family members. We should also maintain social distance and avoid social gathering at this crucial time of Pandemic.
