Career
Javed Akhtar is started his career as a screenplay writer with Salim Khan from the movie “Andaz (1971)”. Javed and Salim Khan work together as Javed-Salim in the movies. The duo created movies like Zanjeer, Deewar, Sholay, Don, Dostana, and Kranti. In 1983, Javed made his debut as a solo screenwriter with the movie “Betaab”.
