As we have informed you that NCB had arrested comedian Bharti Singh on Saturday after her acceptance of consuming drugs.
Next day i.e. on Sunday, her husband Harsh Limbachiya was also arrested by NCB. A small amount i.e. 86.5 gm of Ganja detained from raids at their office and home.
On Sunday, NCB took Bharti and Harsh for their medical and appeared before the court. In the court, NCB demanded the 14-days judicial custody of Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiya for further inquiry in drug probe.
In a public statement, NCB said Bharti and Harsh acknowledged the utilization of ganja.
A justice court on Sunday sent TV comic Bharti Singh and her better half Harsh Limbachiya to judicial custody till December 4, 2020.
The lawyer of Harsh Limbachiya and Bharti Singh, Mr. Ayaz Khan has applied for their bail. Hearing on their bail applications will occur on Monday.
In the court, Public Prosecutor Atul Sarpande said that he demanded NCB custody of Harsh and Bharti as 86.5 gm of Ganja is detained from their home and office in NCB raids.
On the other hand, Ayaz Khan, the lawyer of Harsh and Bharti, argued that there is no need of Judicial Custody. as it is a case of Drugs Consumption and they were not peddling drugs. Their bail plea was filed and hearing will be on Monday.
